Leominster Heritage CIC

Campaign privacy notice

Last updated: 5 October 2026.

Leominster Heritage CIC is responsible for the information submitted to the “Put Leominster on the A49” campaign. Contact data@leominsterheritage.co.uk with questions or requests about your information.

What we collect and why

The public support form collects your name, email, optional postcode and comments, your support confirmation and your choice about sharing evidence. We use this to record support, prevent duplicate counts and handle enquiries. Your email is not added to a mailing list.

The business form collects the organisation name, contact name, email, optional telephone and comments, pledge level and confirmation that the pledge is conditional. We use these details to record and discuss business support. No payment is taken.

Your choices and campaign evidence

We rely on your consent to record a public expression of support or business pledge. Sharing public support as evidence is a separate, optional choice. If you agree, we may include your name, postcode and comments in evidence sent to National Highways or other public bodies considering the proposal. The evidence export excludes email addresses.

Personal information is not displayed publicly. We will seek separate agreement before acknowledging any business by name or logo. Please avoid including other people’s personal or sensitive information in comments.

Storage and access

Submissions are stored using the OpenAI Sites service and its Cloudflare hosting and database infrastructure. New submissions are also emailed to the campaign mailbox at a49@leominsterheritage.co.uk using Resend, our email delivery provider. These notifications include the information entered on the form and the choices you made. Access to campaign records, notification emails and exports is restricted to the campaign administrator. These providers may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to operate and protect the service.

Visits and conversions

We count page visits by day and compare them with saved support and business responses. This site does not set analytics cookies, create visitor profiles or use advertising trackers. Page-visit counts are aggregate figures, not counts of unique visitors. Social-sharing links contact the relevant service only when you choose to use them.

Retention and your rights

We keep campaign records while the campaign is active and review whether they are still needed at least annually. Records will be deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, normally within 12 months of the campaign closing. If a pledge progresses into funding, we will explain any separate records required at that stage.

You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by emailing the address above. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. If evidence has already been sent to a public body, we will explain what was shared and ask that body to consider your request; its own retention duties may also apply.

You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office. You can also read the main Leominster Heritage privacy notice.
